ScRap.NET is a small screen saver application written in VB.NET with COM Interop into the Windows API "BitBlt" functions. This small application will run in your computer's System Tray.
Whenever you need to take a screen shot of a specific area on your computer, all you need to do is press the "Prt Scn" (Print Screen) button on your keyboard. After that, hold down the left mouse button and drag your mouse over the area that you wish to take a screen shot of. The area you are selecting will be covered in a light gray, partially transparent square, so you can see exactly what you are getting in your screen shot.
Once you let go of the left mouse button, the screen shot will be taken and copied into your clipboard. You may then paste the contents of the screen shot into any application that supports graphics, such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, etc.
