A few weeks ago, my wife and I were driving home and having one of those deep, meaningful conversations about various issues in our relationship. At one point, we are discussing how she worries about too many things, too much. During this part of the conversation, she very seriously says something to the effect of
“I worry that you love me less, because I worry too much”
Now, take half a second to think about that and you'll see how it leads in circular logic: she worries that i love her less because she worries, i love her less, she worries, i love her less, she ... and on and on and on. Of course this is untrue, but this was the thought she was expressing at the moment.
What makes this a testament to my geekiness is that the instant she said this, I visualized this in my head:

And when I started laughing immediately after visualizing that, she got kind of offended and I had to spend the next 10 minutes explaining what a call stack is and why I immediately thought of this exception. In the end, though, she thought it was pretty funny, too. :)
